Indeed, I don't doubt that men were behind the designs of the in-game characters but I think it's because most of the population is men and if there are girl gamers, it can give a feeling of sexiness if you know what I mean. Anyway, I've seen a lot of MMORPG's like WoW and Aion Online which has daring costumes but doesn't look bad at all.
